The first consultation takes 50 minutes and takes place online (usually via Zoom). We get to know each other, discuss the reasons that led you to decide to see a psychologist, understand the main request - the goals and results you would like to achieve - and plan the timing and number of meetings you would like to attend, as well as a schedule that is convenient for us.
We live in a modern world, and I use various tools in my practice, including short-term techniques. Sometimes, when you just need to get your focus back on the specific steps you need to take to "make things work," one session is enough. Of course, you won't work through trauma or depression in one session, but sometimes we just need someone to talk to and it's not about serious therapy. In that case, I can offer a sober supportive approach and you can get a quality conversation that will help you cope with certain temporary states in the moment.

I am a supporter of the idea that no one can impose a psychologist on you, you can choose him or her only independently, guided by your own feelings and intuition. In any case, if you do not like my style of communication, you can limit yourself to an initial consultation and not continue working with me.
No, I only work when I see a person in person. But you can be 100% sure that all your information and personal data will remain confidential and will not be transferred to third parties. If necessary, we can sign a non-disclosure agreement (we usually do this with people who are in public or are easily recognizable).
If we talk about individual consultations, the range of requests is very wide. People often come to us when they feel anxious, apathetic, depressed, or emotionally unstable. Some complain of chronic stress, others of a feeling of emptiness or loss of meaning in life. Many want to get rid of self-criticism, feelings of inadequacy, or fear of judgment. Requests may concern conflicts in the family, at work, or in friendships. Some come because of communication difficulties, others because of codependent or toxic relationships.
Some come not because of problems, but to better understand themselves, to find their true desires and values. Such clients are looking for ways to live a more conscious life. This is about the ability to say "no", not to take on other people's problems and to build relationships without a sense of guilt or obligation. It happens that people cannot choose between several paths, do not understand what they want, or feel stuck.
Fear of change, uncertainty, and loss of control are very common concerns. They are often accompanied by procrastination or avoidance of action.
In general, individual therapy provides an opportunity to look at your problems from a different perspective, understand the root causes of your experiences, and find new solutions.
At the moment I work only online. This is mainly due to the fact that I am not constantly in the same place, and also because most of my clients are in different parts of the world. I work in techniques that easily allow for an online format. You can cancel a scheduled consultation free of charge 24 hours before it starts.
If you cancel your consultation less than 24 hours in advance, I will retain 50% of the consultation fee. If you cancel your consultation less than 12 hours in advance, I will retain 100% of the consultation fee. The appointment can be rescheduled at any time, but no later than 24 hours before it begins.
